Mack Expands Engineering Staff

ARLINGTON, Vt. – Douglas Fish has joined Mack Molding as a tool development engineer in its Application Development Center at its headquarters plant, it was announced today by Senior Staff Engineer John Zuk.

“Doug will be responsible for procuring new molds and coordinating engineering changes, as well as repairing and refurbishing existing molds,” says Zuk. “Mack is in a growth mode, particularly in the medical device market, so we’re steeped in new product development programs, and many require multiple tools. Doug is a welcome addition.”

Most recently, Fish was a mechanical engineer for APS Technology, a Connecticut company focused on electromechanical hardware and sensor technology for the oilfield, mining and oceanography industries.

Fish graduated valedictorian from Lafayette College, Easton, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2001. He is a Marquis Scholar (Lafayette College honors program), and a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

An avid outdoorsman and Vermont native, Fish has now returned to his hometown, Londonderry, Vt.
